Picture this: you're over the biggest hurdle of pregnancy, which is actually birthing the little baby. All you care about is your child's health, your health, and figuring out the best way to move forward to make the healing process move smoothly. This is especially true for new moms who haven't had a child until this one, and/or mothers who needed to have an emergency c-section without planning to have one. The shock a c-section can have on a woman's body is consistently downplayed by many men, but in this story, the woman's mother-in-law proves that women can be just as misogynistic to you and your body after childbirth.
To preserve the woman's story, I won't say too much. Just know that the mother-in-law makes many insensitive comments about her daughter-in-law's body not even a few months after she birthed her healthy, newborn baby. The mother-in-law makes some crazy inferences about the nature of her son and the woman's relationship, which backfires when the husband completely refutes her comments. Scroll to read the whole story, plus some empowering comments from ladies who want the woman to know that her body only concerns her, and nobody else.
